Board of Directors: Nominations / Elections
Updates concerning Organizational & Individual Representative Elections
PRCA Board Elections:
As part of the PRCA by-laws, the Board of Directors (BOD) is comprised of termed members and two individuals which serve on the BOD as membership representatives. These elected positions are viewed as an Individual Member Representative and one as an Organization Representative. This function was implemented at the PRCA creation to create a real and purposeful voice for the membership at-large to address, participate, and input to the direction of the BOD and the PRCA as an association. It also serves as a checks and balance system between the membership and the BOD. BOD members do not have to be vendors, accredited vendors, or be employed by accredited vendors. BOD members can be programmers, directors, interns, or any other ropes challenge course professional.
Outgoing Representatives include Pete Engstrom and Dave Prowitz. Dave served as an interim representative for Don Stock when he moved out of the position at mid-term to a two year termed position on the BOD, becoming the BOD Treasury. The PRCA wishes to thank both Pete and Dave for their service and their countless hours and selfless contributions to the betterment of the PRCA. We sincerely hope that they will consider being nominated to serve on the BOD in the future! The PRCA benefited greatly from their contributions and service.
